Women’s Ministry F.I.T Workshops: September Recap & October Preview

September was a creative and spiritually enriching month for the Women's Ministry, as we gathered for the F.I.T. Workshops. These sessions provided not only opportunities for artistic expression but also time for fellowship. Here's a look back at the amazing events we had in September and a sneak peek at what's coming up in October!

September Workshops Recap

Canvas and Acrylics with Pam Null
Our first workshop kicked off with a session using canvas and acrylics. Under Pam’s expert guidance, participants explored their creative side, transforming blank canvases into vibrant works of art.

Cardmaking & Paper Stamps with Kelley Skowronek
Kelley led a wonderful cardmaking workshop where participants learned the art of creating heartfelt, handmade cards. Whether it was for a special occasion or just to brighten someone’s day, these personalized creations allowed us to give back to our community in a meaningful way.

Watercolor His Word with Sarah Fraley
In our final September workshop, Sarah led a wonderful session using watercolors to express the beauty of God’s Word. We reflected on scripture and let our brushstrokes flow to create beautiful seasonal works of art!

October Workshops: Join Us for More Creativity and Fellowship!

10:30am-12:30pm in Room: 306 every Tuesday in October.
Looking ahead, our October F.I.T. Workshops promise to bring more opportunities for you to connect with others and explore your artistic talents.

• October 1: Watercolor His Word
  • Leader: Sarah Fraley
  • Materials Fee: $5
    If you missed the September session, you have another chance to join Sarah as we use watercolors to reflect on scripture and express our faith through art.
• October 8, 15, 29: Canvas and Acrylics
  • Leader: Pam Null
  • Materials Fee: $5 per workshop
    Pam returns with more sessions to explore the world of acrylic painting. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, these workshops will give you the space to create and grow.
  • October 22: Cardmaking & Paper Stamps
  • Leader: Kelley Skowronek
  • Materials Fee: $5 for 6 cards (or by donation)
    Kelley will guide us once again in making beautiful handmade cards. This is a wonderful opportunity to prepare heartfelt gifts for friends and family during the upcoming holiday season.

Saturday Special: IMGN Life Service Project – Fiber Fellowship – Beginners Welcome!

For those who love to serve through crafting, we’re also excited to announce a Saturday workshop focusing on a service project through fiber arts.

• Fiber Fellowship
  • October 12 
  • Time: 10:00 am - 12 pm
  • Leaders: Sarah Fraley, Pam Null
  • Room: Chapel
  • Need to Bring: Yarn, crochet needles, or knitting needles
    Join us as we come together to crochet or knit items for babies in need. This is a great way to use your crafting skills to bless others in our community!
